Intensive Care Unit (COVID)

Our purpose built 10 bedded intensive care unit is specially configured to cater for patients requiring respiratory , renal and cardiovascular support through  mechanical ventilation and haemodynamic monitoring. The ICU is managed by a team of highly experienced, dedicated and patient centered resident Doctors, Intensive Care Nurses, Physiotherapists and support services.

The unit has full-feature invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilators and transport ventilators ready for deployment to allow immediate expansion of ICU services if required. Our ventilators have high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), CPAP and BiPAP functionality in the event that non-invasive ventilation is required.

Strict adherence to infection control measures have been put in place to reduce the risk of cross infection amongst patients  and  our medical team.

The unit is equipped with  Negative Air Pressure Ventilation  for the safety of our patients and staff.

A central monitoring system and CCTV is available to allow effective patient monitoring.
